Christos Kyrou, DPM
As long as I can remember I have always wanted to be a Doctor. Growing up my Grandparents lived with us and I would often visit different Doctors offices with them. I can recall that every time we left the office my Grandparents felt comforted and assured. Their Doctor always seemed to be kind and caring and this left a lasting impression.
Podiatry is one of the few specialties that allows you to treat the foot medically and surgically. I can see the patient through the whole healing process. This was one of the reasons I chose the profession. The other is that feet are the foundation of the body and many diseases originate in the feet. Cure the feet, cure the whole body.
I have always treated my patients like family. I know most of my patients and their families personally. Patients know that they can contact me at any time for medical advice.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family (Wife and 3 Children). Hiking, biking and playing basketball.
I would advise my patients to not neglect your feet. I have seen many times that something that seems minimal or innocuous becomes a major issue.
